WC- CV - Confidea Wireless Chairman Voting Unit

 

The Confidea CIV is a wireless fully digital portable chairman conference unit perfect for permanent or temporary meetings with speech, voting and/or language interpretation. The unit features a built-in loudspeaker, screw lock connector for a pluggable gooseneck microphone one channel selector, two 3.5 mm (0.14 in.) headphone jacks, a single microphone button, five voting buttons, next and priority microphone control, voting start and stop function, an OLED channel and volume display. The wireless unit is powered by a custom Lithium-ion battery pack and can be optionally powered by a wall power adaptor (sold separately).

 

The unit can either be controlled by the chairman or remotely by the operator/conference chair. The gain/sensitivity of the microphone/loudspeaker can be remotely controlled by the operator via web based set up application built into the wireless access point for the system. The microphone button is located between two LEDs to indicate whether the unit is on (RED) or in the request-to-speak queue (GREEN). The loudspeaker is automatically switched off when the microphone is activated to prevent acoustic feedback. The chairman also has a next in line and priority control buttons. The chairman unit can adjust the overall system volume as well.
